Mainly Folk and some Rock. I was mainly focused on the songwriting. This is the first solo album I pieced together. It began during the break-up of a different band I co-founded with Brett Barton, Picturesq.

Several musicians from the previous band joined in on these sessions. I didn't have much more than a 4-track, or a name at the time, but I eventually called the music venture, Metzger's Car. The idea being, I would go for a musical drive, and different people would join me for parts of the road trip.

Some tunes were recorded in a small apartment (on Diversey, Lincoln, and Racine) in Chicago. Some were recorded at my childhood home.

The title track was tracked by Cory Stone at his really cool farmhouse/studio in Woodstock IL. We played through the tune while we were there finishing up some vocals and the final mix of Picturesq's final album.
